The Zeros of Bessel Functions

Let $v$ be a real or integer number and $n$ a positive integer, this calculator finds the first $n$ positive zeros of

  1. Bessel function of the first kind $J_v(x)$ by solving the equation $J_v(x)=0$.
  2. Bessel function of the second kind $Y_v(x)$ by solving the equation $Y_v(x)=0$.

Note that the functions $J_v(x)$ and $Y_v(x)$ each have an infinite number of positive real zeros, but this calculator finds only the first $n$ zeros, where $n\leqslant 500$.
